Mock Call Practice Tools for BPO Applicants, Compared

By Dave Wilson · 7 min read · 4 October 2026

Ask an AI chatbot for mock call practice and it will name a handful of tools, but most of them practise something different. In a BPO mock call you are the agent and the AI plays the customer. Most tools on these lists are mock interview tools, where the AI plays the recruiter and asks you interview questions. Both are useful, and they prepare you for different stages of the hiring day. We make Oliver, one of the tools below, so weigh that. Every fact about the other tools comes from their own public pages, checked on 3 October 2026, without creating accounts or paying. Prices change, so check before you buy.

The tools at a glance

Three tools on this list put an AI customer on the call for you to handle: BPO Ready by Speechace, Oliver and TryMockCall. GoRehearse puts a mock customer call inside its voice-process interview. Kareera, RingPrep and Colloqa practise interview questions instead. All seven have a free start, and Kareera is the only one that shows prices in pesos.

Prices are as listed on each site on 3 October 2026, in the currency the site shows.

Tools where the AI plays the customer

These are the tools that practise the mock call itself: a customer calls with a problem, and you verify, find the issue, solve it and close.

BPO Ready by Speechace

A three-week course for BPO applicants from Speechace, a speech assessment company in Seattle. It mixes AI customer roleplays (irate callers, refund requests, technical issues) with pronunciation and fluency checks, HR interview practice and written chat tests, then gives a score report and a certificate. Pronunciation scoring is Speechace's main product, so this is the strongest option on this list if your accent or pace is what worries you. The free 10-minute readiness check asks for your name, email, first language and location first. The full course is US$16.99 once, with no subscription. BPO Ready

Oliver

Voice mock calls in the browser, on a phone or a computer, where the AI plays a customer with a specific problem and you handle the call. Six customer-service scenarios are public, each with its opening line and the three things it is scored on, and the scorecard after the call scores each of the three, explains each score with a tip for next time, and shows the full transcript. The free practice call asks for your first name and email, with no account or card. A free account adds 2 practice calls every 30 days, and Pro is US$19 a month for 40 calls, about ₱1,080 at early October rates. Oliver does not score pronunciation, does not give a certificate and has no app. How Oliver scores a practice call

TryMockCall

A catalogue of AI roleplays and mock interviews by voice or video avatar, mainly for US sales and service reps, with some customer service scenarios. Each scenario page shows the customer, the situation and the weighted rubric before you start, which is useful even if you never sign up. The free first session is about 5 minutes and needs an account. Voice minutes start at US$4.49 for 15 minutes and do not expire. It is not written around Philippine BPO hiring. Tools that practise interview questions

These help with the initial interview and the HR or operations interview. Only GoRehearse also puts a mock customer call inside one of its interviews. Use one of these as well as a customer-call tool.

Kareera

A Philippine interview prep site, registered with the DTI and BIR. You take AI mock interviews by video, phone call, speaking at your own pace or typing, with three AI interviewers: a recruiter, a hiring manager and an operations manager. Each answer gets a score out of 10 and a stronger version of what you said. It has prep pages for specific BPO companies and roles. The free plan has one 3-question mock interview, and paid plans are priced in pesos: ₱149 for 7 days, ₱499 for 30 days and ₱1,199 for 90 days. Kareera pricing

RingPrep

You paste a job description, your real phone rings, and an AI recruiter runs a 10 to 15 minute phone screen. The report gives a readiness score out of 100, a score per question, a count of filler words and the recording. The first interview is free with no card, then credits start at US$19 for 2 interviews. It is aimed at US job seekers, does not mention BPO, and we did not test whether it can call a Philippine (+63) number. RingPrep pricing

Colloqa

An AI hiring manager interviews you by voice or text in seven languages, asks follow-up questions and gives written coaching at the end. It has a page for customer service, call center and BPO roles, where the AI asks situational questions such as how you would handle an angry customer, but it does not play the customer. The free plan allows one session a day and needs an account; paid is US$8.99 a week or US$19.99 a month. Colloqa customer service interview practice

GoRehearse

A spoken mock interview built from a role or a job description you paste in, built and run by one person, a sole proprietor in Faridabad, India. Its customer support (voice) interview is built around a mock customer call, with an angry caller and a "sell me this pen" question, so it is the one interview tool here that also rehearses the mock call. The free preview lasts 60 seconds, needs no account and is not graded. A 15-minute interview costs ₹99, and the site lists packs from US$4.99 outside India. GoRehearse customer support interview

How to choose

Start with the stage you are worried about. If it is the mock call, pick a tool where the AI plays the customer, and take several calls across different problems rather than repeating one. If your accent or pace is the worry, BPO Ready is the one built on pronunciation scoring. If it is the initial or HR interview, Kareera is priced in pesos and written for Philippine hiring.

Whichever you use, practise out loud and take more than one call. Interviewers in the mock call listen for the same stages every time: a clear opening, verification, finding the real problem, a solution within policy and a proper close. Saying them out loud while a customer pushes back is what makes them stick.

Tools we left out

We also checked six names that come up in chatbot answers and left them out of the table. Wayground (formerly Quizizz) has AI customer roleplay for business training teams, but it is sold through a demo request, not to individual applicants. ClapAssist's main product is a desktop app that suggests answers during a live interview; it also has a free browser mock interview, but no customer call. bpoai.ai is a BPO directory and job board with a written model mock call, not a practice tool. PrepTalk is an iPhone interview app whose website was down on 3 October 2026. Hinahon and Spokent are iPhone apps with an AI that talks back, but on 4 October 2026 Hinahon's App Store listing described sales cold calls rather than customer service, and Spokent had not been updated since September 2025.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free AI mock call simulator?

Yes, as of 3 October 2026. Oliver's free practice call puts an AI customer on the line after you give your first name and email. TryMockCall's free first session lasts about 5 minutes and needs an account. BPO Ready's AI customer calls are part of its US$16.99 course; its free 10-minute check is an interview-style assessment.

What is the difference between a mock call and a mock interview?

In a mock call you play the call center agent and someone plays a customer with a problem; it tests how you handle a real call. In a mock interview someone plays the recruiter and asks interview questions about you. BPO hiring usually has both, and most AI practice tools only do the interview.

Which mock call practice tools are free?

As of 3 October 2026, every tool on this page has a free start: Oliver's free practice call asks for your first name and email (2 a day in one browser), BPO Ready has a free 10-minute check, and TryMockCall, Kareera, RingPrep and Colloqa each give a free first session or a free daily session after you sign up or enter a phone number. GoRehearse has a free 60-second preview that is not graded.

Which tools are priced in Philippine pesos?

Kareera is the only one on this page that shows prices in pesos (₱149 for 7 days). The others show US dollars, or Indian rupees in GoRehearse's case.

Most of these tools are cheap or free to try, so the cost of picking the wrong one is small. The bigger mistake is preparing only for the interview questions and walking into the mock call without having handled a customer out loud.
